I made the awful mistake of eating Orange Sherbet. Boy did I suffer for that!

I know there are sorbets that we can eat. Would some please remind me of where I can find the list on this site?
Thanks

Check the recipe exchange. It has quite a few sorbet recipes.

What was in the sorbet that caused you problems?

It was not sorbet that I ate, but Orange Cream sherbet. I paid for it dearly. I forgot to read the ingredients.

I remembered that we could eat Sorbet, and was trying to find the list of sorbets on the website.

I joined this board in 2004 and have been very stable hence, the foolishness of thinking I could eat sherbet.

Thanks for responding.

Is that what you're looking for? That is here http://www.helpforibs.com/messageboards/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=diet&Number=120336&page=0&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

In general, any sorbet is safe except perhaps coconut or chocolate (they might be too high in fat). All other flavors should be fat free. Read the ingredients - all you normally have to watch out for in sorbets is unexpected dairy (which should by definition never be in sorbet, but manufacturers can surprise you).
