Lavender lime cake Has anyone tried to use another flavor besides lavender? I can't find it here in our rural area health food stores. They are limited..
....or just used the lime flavoring with maybe vanilla?
Any suggestions?

cinnamon-lime is a good combination (you could bring a cinnamon stick or two to boil in the syrup instead of the lavender).

PS: Heather, I check out recipes all the time at http://www.helpforibs.com/messageboards/ubbthreads/recipe_index.php Many seem to be coming up with the wrong page. I love the new indexing, but the entirely wrong recipe comes up on many that I have tried to "see"

Thanks, H

to go with the lime cinnamon you could add a little fresh orange zest as well. That's a good combo!

You're clicking on bookmarks within the page, those are just meant to take you to that page section. You have to actually click on the specific name of a recipe to get taken to that recipe.

I have used many a recipe from the recipe index (with "low fat"!). But by cicking on Dark Chocolate Sauce (under sauces, etc.) it brings up a salad dressing recipe by Kree.
