There's definitely nothing wrong with being pale! I got teased for this in high school too. One of my friends would come up to me in the hall, grab my wrist, and pretend to take my pulse because I was so pale he thought I might be dead! The girl with the locker next to mine went to tanning beds every single day year round. She was the tannest girl in school, and she loved to compare her arm to mine to see how dark she was. But I got the last laugh, because by the time we graduated her skin looked like luggage and she had wrinkles at age 18.
We need little buttons to wear in the summer..."stark white and proud of it" or something. I'd rather be white than bright red from a sunburn any day.
