Hi Ruchie! Do a board search for this and for candida. You'll see posts by me and I think by Shawn Eric too. Unfortunately, there's pretty much no medical evidence for a system-wide yeast overgrowth in a person's body (outside of systemic infection, which is blood poisoning, which has a high fatality rate and involves an ICU stay in the hospital). And there's no evidence that a yeast-free diet can do much of anything at all. If someone is battling a yeast infection (like vaginal or thrush) avoiding refined sugars can help. But other than that, the whole Yeast Connection theory has been pretty conclusively disproved for quite a few years now. Many a study has tried to prove the concept positive, and ended up proving the exact opposite.
