Hi - there shouldn't be a connection between an allergy to acacia pollen or leaves and the acacia fiber. We do have folks allergic to acacia trees who do fine with the acacia fiber. The fiber is actually only produced by two specific species of acacia trees, which only grow in Africa. The fiber comes from a gum that these trees produce (sort of like maple syrup) when the temperature hits a certain height.

Acacia is also known as gum arabic. If you are allergic to that, or to gums in general (guar gum, locust bean gum, etc.) then you'd want to avoid acacia fiber.

Hope this helps,
Heather
