Hi - my instinctive answer to this is no - just avoid anything and everything beef, period. But if the broth is fat free, you might be okay. If you can use fat free chicken or veggie broth I think that's a better way to go.

Just fyi, there is no advantage to giving your family beef for protein. They'll be much healthier overall sticking to poultry, fish, and egg whites for animal proteins, or beans/legumes and soy for vegetable proteins.
