Hi, and welcome! I'd second Andie, that as IBS is a lifelong problem you'll probably have to keep the biggest trigger foods (and those are almost universally red meat and dairy) out of your diet. You may be able to cheat with small amounts, once you're really stable...or you may not. Meat and dairy are problems for several reasons - they're not just high fat, but their proteins are really difficult to digest, plus dairy has lactose. They're also foods with zero soluble fiber, so there's nothing helpful about them to help balance out the harm they can do IBS.

So....hope for the best here, but in the meantime try and treat yourself to foods you love that won't hurt you.
