Hi Mary - Some people have an easier time with whole wheat bread than others. Almost all whole wheat breads will actually have more white flour than whole wheat in them. If you make bread with just whole wheat flour, you get a very heavy, dense loaf. So any light and fluffy whole wheat bread you see likely has a fairly small amount of whole wheat. That can be pretty tolerable for a lot of IBS folks - and if it is for you, then this is a great way to get some whole grains safely into your diet.
