Mustard (and horseradish) are actually digestive aids. That's why they were traditional accompaniments to very heavy, hard to digest foods like cured meats. But, modern bottled preparations can often have IBS-unfriendly ingredients in them (fructose, dairy, etc.) Read the labels and try versions that are as simple as possible. The gourmet or health food store brands tend to be better for this.
