Now wheat bran, on the other hand, is pure insoluble fiber, and that is the kiss of death for a lot of people...and yet it is what a lot of docs and dietitians still recommend for their IBS patients...despite the fact that there have been clinical studies out for more than ten years showing most IBS folks do not get better, but worse, when taking wheat bran. - Heather -------------------- Heather is the Administrator of the IBS Message Boards.
