No kidding? That is fascinating!

I knew the tree had been around and used by humans forever, since they can date the use of Acacia gum (the soluble fiber part) back to the ancient Egyptians. But I had no idea there was a biblical reference to it as well. How interesting!

Funny thing though...the woman who named her daughter Acacia had adopted her from China, and she thought the name had a sort of non-English ring to it that would be fitting for the little girl. So there's a multi-ethnic chain of circumstances for you!
