though I wouldn't say cheese was the safest way to go here. Your body needs fat for satiety. Fiber (soluble and insoluble) is very filling, but you digest it relatively quickly. Proteins and, even more so, fats, take longer to digest, thus keep you fuller longer.
Make sure you're having a good soluble fiber base first before you eat your small salad, and try adding the tuna or some soy cheese or even soy bacon bits to it for protein (or hard boiled egg whites, shredded chicken breasts, etc.). The tuna and soy cheese would already be getting you some healthy fats, so that's good.
