Hi Annliz - the Tummy Fiber is just pure soluble fiber, so it can't turn diarrhea to constipation or vice versa. It just regulates bowel contractions and water content in the bowel.
As a very rough average, diarrhea takes 1-3 tablespoons per day (total, but ideally divided into 2 separate doses), while constipation takes 3-5 tablespoons per day.
As long as your increases are gradual, and it sounds like they are, you are doing this right.
It may be other factors are influencing this - diet, stress, weather, etc.
If you're up 1.5 T twice a day, that is ok, and still in the middle range. You can continue to gradually increase and hopefully that will resolve any constipation.
Please keep me posted.
