such as fibromyalgia, celiac, and even Crohn's. Please make sure you've been tested for all those things.
You can definitely have a low fat diet with IBS (and you need this) but don't go fat free. The breaking the cycle diet is just for a few days, and shouldn't cause any joint problems at all.
If it is IBS, make sure your fats are heart-healthy like flax, olive oil, fish oils, canola oil, etc. That will get you the health benefits of good fats, but eat them in small quantities with a soluble fiber foundation so you don't trigger IBS symptoms.
