I'd second angylroses here. We are a friendly bunch, and you never really know when something unexpectedly will relate to IBS. I'd like the board to be open to these possibilities, particularly when they're in the scope of an IBS-specific thread. Something like a skin condition (say, eczema instead of acne) and IBS symptoms together could actually point to undiagnosed celiac, for example. People wouldn't get the chance to know this if they're afraid to post what seem to be "unrelated" topics to IBS - when in fact they are related.
So, unless a thread is spiralling completely off-topic and is better off in the Living Room (in which case you can email me, and I'll address it), I'd like this board to be a friendly, open and helpful place for all issues that may relate to the IBS diet. I think the posts in this thread are well within that general topic.
