Re: Fiber supplements and meds close together       09/03/03 01:50 PM Edit Reply Quote Heather Reged: 12/09/02 Posts: 7799 Loc: Seattle, WA Hi - the general rule here is that if a medication can be taken with food (and IBS anti-spasmodics can) they can be taken with soluble fiber supplements. If a med must be taken on an empty stomach, then it shouldn't be taken with the fiber sup.
