I have found yoga to be helpful in many areas of my life. The strength and flexibility gained through the asanas is valuable and improves my overall physical health. I find that the meditation is even more valuable to me. Stress plays a part in my IBS. Yoga is a powerful counter action to that stress. I do a moderately heated vinyassa flow yoga. I go 1/2 hour early to warm up. I stay 1/2 hour after the class to meditate, to ground myself, to listen to my breathing and to connect my mind and body. Yoga has changed my life for the better.
