I was wondering if anyone knows when we might be able to expect the IBS Yoga DVD that is going to be made by Heather?

I heard that the Mayo clinic one has some useless information on it and I don't want to pay the money for it if I can only use the Yoga part of it...

I just figured that since Heather has experienced IBS and knows what we all go through, she and who she trusts might be better fit to help with this. (for me anyway)!

I hope it's soon!

Thank you!

there are quite a few other projects taking priority. I'm so sorry - I'd guess it will be at least a year.

Best,
Heather

Hi

I got the Mayo Clinic DVD. I found the first part which was facts and figures about IBS helpful. I thought the diet stuff was way too basic and not specific to the different types of IBS. The dietician they had looked like a rabbit in the head lights in front of the camera. She also recommended bran ceral and strawberries for breakfast. That would just kill me if I had all that IF.

The yoga section was OK but not as well filmed as it could be. There was some sound interference from the wind and the two woman doing the Yoga with Rodney looked under rehersed and uncertain at times. However he did occasionally explain why you were doing a pose. If you are looking for a yoga sequence for IBS this could help. Though it's not for you if you haven't did a few classes.

You could try a DVD called Yoga for stress relief which has four sequences for IBS and digestive problems. I really like it as it's slow pced and focuses more on stretches and relaxation.
