Heather, Will The Yoga DVD Be Ready By Christmas?

I'm putting together an "IBS Gift Basket" for my sister who also has IBS. I will include a lot of things from your website (teas, books, etc) plus other things that have helped me (Bed Buddies, a water bottle, Citrucel). My question is, do you think you will be finished with your yoga DVD in time to purchase as a Christmas gift? And if not, does anyone have suggestions for a yoga tape? I do yoga, but I'm pretty advanced and flexible, while my sister is not. So I'm not sure what a good IBS yoga tape would be for a beginner.

Hi Catherine! What a great idea for your sister. I'm honestly not sure if the yoga dvd will be done by then. We're adding an organic soluble fiber supplement to the site, then putting the first run of Heather Cooks shows on DVD, then after that we're slated to complete the yoga tape. Since everything always ends up taking about ten times longer than we anticipate, I'm not sure when the yoga dvd will be done. I'll keep you posted if we're getting anywhere close.
Search the yoga board for begginer tape recommendations - yogateacher has posted several suggestions, as have other folks. I have a David Swenson tape that I love but it's not for beginners. The tape is awesome but it's also really difficult...and it's not even his advanced series. I honestly cannot imagine what that tape would involve!

Catherine, I have beein doing yoga on & off for years, mainly Hatha yoga. A few months ago I purchsed a bunch of yoga dvds from Rodney Yee. His stuff in my opinion is great. One of my favorite dvd's by him is his AM - PM - Stress Relief which is 3 segments on one dvd. I find them easy to do & very soothing. I have a few dvd's by Yoga Zone which are also pretty good.
