Sounds a little weird, tastes great.
I use toasted sourdough bread, spread on fat-free or veggie mayo, then sprinkle on my Tummy Fiber, then Bacos or other soy bacon bits. Then I sprinkle on a little Bacon Salt (love that stuff).
Add thinly sliced tomatoes, and instead of butter lettuce I add shredded dandelion green leaves that I've de-stemmed. They're so much tastier than lettuce!
I use nice thick slices of bread for a good soluble fiber foundation and not huge amounts of the tomatoes or lettuce/greens.
Great for lunch with some baked chips!

It's a bacon flavored salt (totally vegan) available at grocery stores. I'm in Seattle, so it may be a local product, but I'm not sure. It's at mainstream groceries in the spice section. It's not organic and there are some fillers in there, but you don't have to use much and I've never had any problems with it.
If you can't find it, just use the Bacos alone.

Yeah it is too bad the Morning Star 'bacon' has dairy and eggs in it. I have had it and it tastes good. I hate veggie products that have dairy in them- how stupid!

Why do you think it's stupid? Not all vegetarians are vegan.

It would be better if I said it is maddening and irritating. I hate when I find anything with dairy in it.

Or I could say "gay" or "retarded" but felt I better not. 200 years ago the word stupid had a whole different meaning (along with many other words). You could say 'I am so stupid today' with less blushing than you would say that now.

Sounds delicious!! I've got to try vegan bacon bits... BTW the peppermint caps---is it possible that these could be made with vegan gelatin? I've tried the peppermint tea and the Acacia powder too, both excellent products. It would be good if the peppermint oil was offered in vegan caps.
Thanks Vegan Queen
