I thought in Heather's book it said that brown rice isn't as good for IBS as white rice. Can you eat Brown rice just as much as white? I am a little confused about this one.

Hi - brown rice and oatmeal tend to be the two safest whole grains for IBS (they're much more tolerable than whole wheat). For many folks brown rice never ever causes problems. However, if you're in the midst of severe attacks and trying to break that cycle, white rice is the safer bet as the bran (which has insoluble fiber) has been removed.
