I am looking for some good tea's to drink. From scratch or store bought. I did buy some today I got the cinnamon apple spice I have not tried it yet. I have really enjoyed the tea Heather posted. I would also love to get a good pancake recipe.

Heather I meet you about 2 years ago. At one of your book signings I think it was in Issaquah. You were so sweet thank you for giving me a better life. I was the one that had lost 80 pounds. I am down 107 now but I keep losing and gain the same 7 pounds. Your diet help push me in the right direction. I always choose low fat or fat free even if the full fat is safe i.e. graham crackers. I only make the peppermint cake once a month. I will eat the whole thing by myself. My poor kids love it as well I keep trying to convince them that they will not like it but it never works and I have to share with them. Thank you again.

You came to the signing with your husband and you were both so cute...and you were looking for a pancake recipe back then too!

I'm so glad you're doing better and you should be so proud of yourself for such a dramatic weight loss. That is truly impressive.

I have some pancake recipes I'll pull out and type up on the board this weekend just for you.

Best,
Heather

Pancakes are only a hand full of foods I truly miss. I would eat them morning, noon and night. If I didn't feel like cooking at night we had pancakes for dinner. I tried to make the Caramelized Vanilla Pear Pancakes. I couldn't find our cast iron skillet so I used a regular one and it just didn't work out. I should try it again I found the skillet.

I tried to alter this one but it just never worked it was miss something.
Blueberry-Cinnamon Pancakes
1 ½ cups of flour
2 Tbsp. Sugar
1 ½ tsp. each baking soda and ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. each grated fresh nutmeg and salt
1 ½ cups of buttermilk - I used soy milk I didn't add vinegar
2 large eggs – I did 4 egg whites
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter – didn't use this at all
1 ½ cups of fresh or frozen blueberries (not thawed or rinsed)
