Veggie Pepper Jack is ok.... new

But it's the only one. I think the others taste vaguely cheeseish, but certainly not like "cheddar" or "swiss" or, God help us, "feta."

I think the only thing that makes the Pepper Jack taste ok is that normal pepper jack cheese just tastes like the peppers!

Galaxy Veggie Slices in American (terrific on grilled tuna sandwiches and for nachos) and Yves Pepper Jack (also good melted on just about anything). I have to admit I never eat them when they're not melted onto something, but mostly because I just don't like ANY cheese when it's not melted.

I also really like Okanagan soy cheese, which seems to only be available in Canada. I had samples of different flavors of the stuff at a food fair, so it wasn't melted at all, just plain cubes, and it was fabulous. Lots of flavors, all good.

Thank you, this sounds really good! Do you have to use Egg Beaters or can you use egg whites and if so would it be 6 egg whites?

Yes, you can just use egg whites.......

2 egg whites = 1 whole egg
