When I make ginger tea I cut up ginger and use 1 tsp. and seep it for at least 5 min. Do I need more ginger to make really strong ginger tea if so how much? I am swallowing an Altoid after each meal so that's 6. Can I swallow more if so how many? I have severe IBS. I am taking Dicetel, drinking really strong fennel tea, peppermint tea. I need Copermin and Citricil but those aren't sold here. I can't order from the net since it won't work for my computer. What else can I take for IBS? I can't take Metamucil, it makes me ill. It gives me severe gas, bloating, gas pains. I have constipation, spasms, gas, gas pains, bloating, fullness, cramps, headache. I don't know what else to do. I'm so bloating my clothes don't fit right because my stomach is so swollen. It looks like I'm pregnant with triplets. It's so horrible. It's so uncomfortable. Will I always be so sick like this?

Ginger tea - Here's a quote from The First Year:
Quote:

Brew 1 tablespoon (about a 1" chunk) fresh crushed gingerroot per eight-ounce cup of fresh boiling water. Gingerroot itself can be boiled without losing effectivness.

Have you tried www.medichest.com ? They ship international. If you go to their contact page, it says you can contact them by Email, Fax, Mail or by Telephone. Maybe you could order over one of these instead of internet? Check them out and see what you find.

Do you have Heather's books? They have lots of info.

Sorry I couldn't help more, but I hope this helps some.

Angel, I remember Heather mentioning a fiber supplement that you can get in Canada that is good. Look through the Dietary Guidelines section and maybe hit the search button - there was a lot of discussion on this earlier.
