The recipe calls for fresh fruit. Is it OK to substitute canned? Has anyone here tried that? Thanks!

you use canned fruit packed in water, not in syrup, so the recipe isn't overly sweet.

You could also use frozen peaches or any other fruit you like.

Thanks for the response, Heather. I never buy fruit packed in syrup, so it shouldn't be an issue. I didn't think of frozen, that's probably an even better option.
