With the holidays coming I thought of having cherry cobbler. I saw the one Kree posted but wasn't if either frozen or canned cherries would work for that. Anyone have a safe cherry cobbler recipe?

do you think cherry pie filling would work too? If not, I can get the frozen kind, as fresh is not in season here.

check the ingredients. There's probably sugar and some other things in there, so you'd have to modify the recipe to account for that. Cobbler filling is pretty forgiving, so I think you probably have a lot of flexibility here. Just taste the filling as you go so it's not too sweet/tart/spicy etc.

Where can i find Kree's cherry cobbler recipe? There are a lot of posts even if i narrow by kree's posts only. I was just experimenting with apple crisp today and I'd love to compare notes. I don't know if uncooked oats are okay for topping? i used oat flour instead, chopped walnuts, and ground corn flakes to get that kind of texture. I used canola oil instead of butter and the standard nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar. i liked it. i will have to experiment with the soy frozen yogurt.
