If you use a 1 pound bag of marshmallows to make the rice krispy treats, what is the most canola oil you could safely use? I did the 1 teaspoon amount and they were so sticky that I could barely stir them or get them in the pan. Any suggestions? Joan

What's more important here is how much of the cereal you're using. That's your soluble fiber base. I'd guess for the amount of cereal you'd use for a whole bag of marshmallows (probably at least 6 cups, maybe more) you could add up to 4 tablespoons canola oil. Try 2 T and see how that works.

Heather, I tried the 2 T and it worked out well. I also mixed cocoa krispies with regular rice krispies and they turned out tasty and kind of pretty. Thanks for the advice. Joan
