I love your recipe for the cinnamon zucchini bread and make it a lot. But I've been craving apple bread and wonder if you think I can substitute grated apple for the zucchini. I know apple is more 'juicy', so that's why I'm asking. If you're not sure, maybe I'll just try it and see what happens! Maybe I should decrease the oil by a little to make up for the moisture of the apples?
Thanks for your input. Lori

but you might want to decrease the sugar by a little since apples are sweeter. I don't think you'll have to increase the oil.
Let us know how it turns out!

I made the Sweet Cinnamon Zucchini bread recipe today with the grated apples in place of the zucchini and it worked great! It smelled sooo good that everyone wanted some (which is the only bad part - I get to eat all the zucchini bread myself because no one else around here likes zucchini!). I did everything basically the same (I did add a little nutmeg and cloves) and just substituted grated apples for the zucchini - it baked up just fine and tastes really good! The texture is perfect. Now I've got another great bread to eat! Lori
