Does anyone have a bar recipe suitable for this preferable one I can eat also? I was thinking about the Luscious Lemon Bars (has anyone tried these?) any other suggestions?

Well, they are not really "bars" but these are both really easy make, transport, & cut with little or no mess...

Best of all... it's safe for you and they are delicious!!

the Sticky Date Bars from this newsletter look yummy. Or you could consider this.

Enjoy your reunion!

Thanks for all the suggestions these all sound good! We will have a good time at the reunion(thanks), but it will be really hot about 100 degrees that day, & no air conditiioning at the church where it's at, ouch!

Shell, do you know if you have to use a springform pan to make the Cherry Bars or would it work in a regular pan?

my guess is that it might work if you had a non-stick pan and still sprayed it with cooking oil. Otherwise it might be really tricky to get out of the pan.
