Is Miso soup safe to eat, if eaten with rice crackers as a breakfast food ? I am worried about my intake of protein and wondered if the fermentation may cause an irritation. My other question is seaweed - should i treat it with extra caution as with green vegetables ? I am very new to this diet and still very confused! But the idea behind it makes alot of sence so hopefully i will see some improvements soon

Miso soup is fairly safe, but be careful if you're having it on an empty stomach. Miso actually has a decent amount of fat, and there's no soluble fiber in there to help keep you stable. I always have rice with miso soup, or take a soluble fiber supplement first.
For the seaweed, treat as a green vegetable, so have it with soluble fiber. The small amount of seaweed in miso soup probably won't be a problem, but if you're getting something like a seaweed salad you'll want plenty of soluble fiber with that.
