I can't seem to find currants and two of Heather's recipes I want to do involve Currants. I've tried the local grocery store, Whole Foods, and Fresh Express and can't seem to find them in the produce, canned fruit, or dried fruit section. Is there a substitute for currants that can be used. The particular recipe I am wanting to do is the Chablis Chicken... it just looks so delicious. Your help is much obliged.

As Always,
Stephanie

Hi - Geez, I can't imagine why these are so hard to find.

Anyway, no worries. Just use raisins, and chop them into small pieces. Works great as a sub!
