Do you know if jasmine or basmati rice are long or short? I have both at home and I'm having a very bad day so thought that I'd finally try making this pudding tonight but have no energy to go shopping on way home. When you cook them up, if the rice is sticky, that's short grain. If the grains are separate, they're long grain. Get yourself any kind of white rice that's good for sushi - it will make the best puddingy by far!
