My smoky eggplant hummus tastes a little too lemony--- a very tart lemon flavor. I guess the lemons I used were larger than normal. Is there anything I could add to it to offset this?
Thanks so much for your help! It's wonderful to have your advice. I wish I could watch your cooking show!

Hi - Well, I hope some other people have ideas on this one. All I can think of is to add a tiny bit of sugar at a time and keep tasting - that should help mellow the tartness a bit, but you'll have to be careful. You could also add a bit more of the hummus, and keep tasting to get the right adjustment.

Things will probably mellow a bit on standing, as well.
