Can you make Heather's chocolate cherry cake in a normal tin?

It says it needs a bundt tin, but I don't really want to buy any extra cake tins, being a stingy student. I was wondering if this could be made in a normal tin (I want to make it for everyone at work, so being presentable is important).

I am sure you can just watch the time it is in the oven. you will need to reduce the time. I use a square baking pan for the Peppermint Fudge Cake and it comes out done in 20-25 minutes.
