We don't have bundt pans over here, would a deep cake tin work and if so what diameter eg 8"/9"?

Have any of the UK people made this and if so in what kind of tin? Really want to try it!

Thanks,

Sinead

Use a 9 inch by 5 inch loaf pan, and you should be fine! Cupcakes work too! -nt- new

Thanks Heather, will definitely make this at the weekend, Any idea how many cupcakes the mixture will make (I may need to get another cupcake tin)

Thanks again for such a prompt response!

I've made it in a bundt pan, an angel food pan, and even in 2 9" cake pans to make an iced cake... I used fondant (which is IBS safe) to decorate it after using the fudge sauce recipe here to lightly coat and make the layers sticky (also used it as a dam on the bottom layer before putting a fruit preserve filling between the 2 layers)...

Thanks Amie, is an Angel Food pan the one with the hole in the middle (i think we call it tube pan?)

Our cake tins are so different here its confusing! I love the sandwich idea for it, mmmmm!
