Ok, so maybe I am being a little juvenile here, but I love reading the lists of everyone's "fave" this or that...and I was just curious as to whom your "dream" celebrity would be??? You know...the one whose movies you HAVE to see. or whose sports games you HAVE to watch....that last one is MY downfall. I am a Steelers fan but I just ADORE Brett Favre! (Yum!)The scruffiness gets me everytime! So I watch all the Packers games just to catch a glimpse!

Christianne

PS....IF you guys think I'm crazy, I guess I understand. I know that our husbands/wives/significant others always come first, but it's fun to dream, isn't it???

Well, my "dream celebrity" of all time is George Clooney, however, since Lord of the Rings came out - I also like Viggo Mortensen (plays Aragorn - rough, scruffy look!).
I have seen Oceans 11 about 10 times, George in that black t-shirt & black pants - wow!
Great idea for fav's list

I can't get enough of Mel Gibson. It doesn't hurt that he's a real family man "in real life", that's a turn on to me. I like him best in the Lethal Weapon movies, those crack me up.

Ooh, I didn't know that we could have more than one! I do...but I didn't want to sound like a flooz!

In addition to the luscious Brett Favre:
Fred Durst ( Yeah, I know that he has a bad rep, but those eyes!)
Russell Crowe ( GLADIATOR.....enough said)
Harrison Ford ( Since I was like 4....Han Solo!)

So, I am glad that there are others out there with more than one. You got to keep your options open...

Okay Christianne,
You are too funny about Brett Favre! I live in Packer land and if you talk to fans around here - many will say they want him to go. Personally, I don't. My boys think he is the greastest, along with Michale Jordan, Babe Ruth....

Mel Gibson is my favorite. My two best friends from high school and I made it a point to see all his movies together. Unfortunately one lives in Florida and the other in CA. It is a great memory I have of drooling over Mel Gibson with my friends.

because I don't know who that is. Guess I'm telling my age. I do recognize that movie, but only because my teenage son went to see it recently. Don't tell me you guys are young enough to be my daughters! Last week, when Bob Hope died, my son said, "Who????" (I think he was just pulling my leg.) Please tell me you know who Bob Hope is!

OK, Vin Diesal has got to be one of the hottest men alive. Absolutely fine. I even loved XXX that he was in. My husband and brother-in-law wanted to see it and they didn't like it. I didn't really care to see it and I thought it was great with him.

Okay, I'm going to win for absolute dorkiest answers, but here goes...when I was younger (like middle school--eight or 10 years ago), I had a crush on Kellie Martin, who played the lead role in the series _Christy_. AND I was a huge fan of _Star Trek: The Next Generation_--I liked the actors and actresses who played Captain Picard, Dr. Crusher, and Counselor Troi. I'd like to say I have better taste now, but I can't think of anyone to prove my point .

My husband is a NC native and he is a HUGE Steelers fan. He has been since he was a baby. Neither of his parents were Steelers fans so you tell me how a two year old decides that is who is loves. To give you an idea of my husband, his first word was ball. Not mommy or daddy, but ball. Twenty eight years later it is still his favorite word. Just in case none of you knew, Monday night football started two weeks ago. Yeah!!! Five months of football, but in the middle of football, basketball season starts. He not only watches, but plays and coaches. Can you guys tell how excited I am? I am kidding to a point. When basketball season starts, we don't go anywhere on the weekends for three months. He plays on Friday nights and either on Saturday or Sunday nights, but he coaches on Saturday afternoons. Yeah for BALL!!!!

I understand your pain...My husband is a football, hockey, baseball nut (Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox)...and all three overlap, so my favorite day of the year is the day after the baseball all-star game (the only day of the year, each year, that there are NO sports games on! He not only watches, but is the "commissioner" for 3 fantasy baseball leagues, and is setting up at least 2 fantasy football leagues!

I love to watch hockey with him and will tolerate the others. I just keep reminding myself that I am glad he is home with me and not out at bars or who knows where! I am sure there are a lot of women out there who have to suffer through excessive sports too, right?

Well ladies I feel for you, I have a husband who is not interested in any sports... he only watches baseball every now and then. But it is definately not a rescheduler that's for sure!

However, the man's one down fall - He is addicted to WWE. Uuurggghhh! Honestly - I would prefer to watch hockey, basketball anything.

Atleast sports have a season - my man watches something that is on year round!!!!

Lucky me! LOL
That's my time to scrapbook because he doesn't pay attention to me then anyways!

Ugh! I live with 3 guys (my hubby and 2 teenage boys) and the tv is always tuned into some sports event. I laugh and tell them it doesn't matter if it's bowling, they will watch it! I have to fight---I mean, really fight---to get the remote and watch something else. If I turn it to HGTV, they all roll their eyes!
My husband and one son are big golfers which I hate because it takes up so much TIME. I have been known to go shopping and make a major purchase (such as a leather chair and ottoman) and tell my husband later, "Well, I tried to call you, but you were at the golf course and I couldn't reach you to discuss it with you." I don't do this often, just often enough to remind him who's boss. Ha!
I would like to shoot whoever came up with the GOLF Channel. Listening to putting tips and interviews with David Duval is the most boring thing in the world to me! Oh well, at least golfing keeps my teenage son out of trouble. I always know where he is----at the golf course!

Jim Carrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Richard Jeni, Brett Butler, Maria Bamford, Weird Al Yankovik (I know <g>), Jamie Kennedy, Chevy Chase, The Who's Line show, Old Saturday Night Live, Benny Hill & vintage Monty Python.

Well, my hubby is from a tiny town outside of a tiny town... well, you get the picture~ LOL
The town he's from is called Reynolsville which is outside of DuBois (for some reason pronounced as Doo Boys).
Being from California, he's always teasing us that we need to get back there and visit in January. ;p

Fav Dream Celebrity.
Well, gosh that's hard. So many pretty faces. I'm whimical. I change my mind all the time.
Actor Hotties:
Heath Ledger, Aamir Khan (a Bollywood actor) , Colin Farrell, Russell Crowe, Tobey McGuire are among my current favs.

I'm not sure if I'd acutally want to meet them though. I wouldn't want to bother them and I'm not sure how nice some of them are, in person. I think I'll stick to my daydreaming.

I grew up in Elkhart Lake. Then I moved to Milwaukee to go to college (Carroll College). And well, now, I hate to say this, I moved to Chicago... I don't watch the pre-season games because the Packers don't do very well. I cannot wait until the season starts!!!
