I already weighed in this morning and could not believe my eyes ... I'm going to wait until Sat to report it, because I will also be doing my weigh in with my trainer and that scale is different then the one at home.... so I will see if the amount LOST is the same!!

Good girl! Don't be discouraged by the gym's weight. The WW scale is about 10 pounds heavier than my scale at home. It's not about the number, it's if you've lost and how you feel. We're cheering for you, girlfriend! You go, girl! Keep up the excellent work!

Okay, here I am again! I know I always pop in and out.. forgive me. Okay, so now I need to figure out a way to SAFELY cut down carbs to try and lose some weight 'cause even my doctor said so, so there we go.
Today was like this..
Breakfast: Lemonzest Luna Bar
Snack: Cup of chopped peaches, drained of juices. Handful of mini rice cakes, caramel flavour.
Lunch: 2 slices sourdough bread with ICBINB and fajita chicken (deli meat - so good).
Snack: 3/4 cup of applesauce and UFO (chocolate )
Drinks: 6 cups of cold water, 2 cups peppermint tea, 1 cup roobios (sp) vanilla tea.
Dinner - Am going to have some leftover turkey meatloaf with small piece of bread first and some steamed carrots. Was going to also have asparagus but it's totally gross and gone off, so blech!
So that was today! Exercise.. Not so much. Does filing count?? Just kidding. I was supposed to go to yoga tonight, but I was stuck in traffic for over an hour so I missed the class. I am supposed to be going instead tomorrow morning with my mom.
Okay, wish me luck! --Steph

Total of 1741.25 .....still in my food budget
Friday is MY weigh in day.... I will also have a weigh in day on Saturday with trainer.... the gym scale shows me as 7 pounds more then mine...but she DID warn me that is was about 10 pounds high before I even got on it. But will double check to make sure the difference is the same on both. And for those of you following my weight loss..........
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Drum Roll........ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ARE YOU SITTING DOWN? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * LOST NINE POUNDS.... Yes, you read that right NINE (9) pounds!! (So that is a total of 79 lost since May 28, 2004) I have already reached my FIRST goal that was to lose 40 pounds by Fall Sprawl! My SECOND goal was to lose an additional 20 for a total of 60 by Fall Sprawl.... which I did. My THIRD goal was lose another 20 for a total of 80 by January 31, 2005...but that did not happen....
Then my FOURTH goal... was to lose an additional 23 for a total of 90 pounds by April 30, 2005..... This may not be happening either....but it might be close But that is OKAY!! I'm working on NEW goals with my trainer. ... We are not aiming for a "WEIGHT" right now, but more eating the right foods, right portions, right times of the day (several small meals) and LOTS of exercise!! I'm VERY excited for Saturday @ 7:45am when I have my next session with her!!

I know you are jumping for joy, and we all here are too!!!
That is amazing...now what do you attribute it too.....you didn't eat that much less in the way of calories did you? Didn't up the exercise (or did you)?
What was the secret you think?
Man, 9 pounds, I still can't get over it...
If what ever you did works that well, we all need to follow your lead...
BUT
TELL the TRUTH

I know you are jumping for joy, and we all here are too!!!
That is amazing...now what do you attribute it too.....you didn't eat that much less in the way of calories did you? I was eating 1,900-2,300 and now I'm eating 1,600-1,800 Didn't up the exercise (or did you)? maybe a little more cardio and my workouts will change weekly... I'll post this weeks later... What was the secret you think? Decreased carbs & sugar, increased protein, several small meals, no BIG dinner followed by UFO & sweets Man, 9 pounds, I still can't get over it... I'm sure some of it was water too.... I'd be happy with a pound a week!! If what ever you did works that well, we all need to follow your lead...
BUT
TELL the TRUTH
How many times did your stomach growl? counting the one I JUST had? LOL Well, it was REALLY bad the 1st three days...but it is easier now that I know WHEN to eat....

I figured that's what you did... carbs are good for us, of course, but they ARE calorie-dense, and proteins tend to keep you filled up and satisfied longer. Well, keep up the good work!

Well, I'm still getting plenty of carbs!! I'm just not OVER eating them like I was.... my dinners were VERY carb heavy...and so were my evening snacks, + sugar sweets.... followed by bed.....all in a 3 hour period of time..... not a good combo.
