Heather Was Right -- AGAIN!

Bless you, Heather!
Just got back from the doc appt. Hubby went in with me this time.
I'VE LOST 3 POUNDS IN ONLY 2 WEEKS!! Doc was ecstatic! I was flabberghasted, jumping up and down, hooting and hollering -- I created quite a scene.
How'd I do it, you ask? Well, it was Heather's doing. 2 weeks ago she suggested to me that I cut out sugaaaaa. And that's what I did. Okay, okay, so I had a little honey in my tea, but we're talkin' SUGAAAAA!! Cut it out, and 2 weeks later I'm 3 pounds down!
I am flyin' so high right now, I don't even need a Jack!
Okay, the cholesterol is a little high, but the doc is so pleased about my weight loss, and he said he can clearly see how hard I've been working at it -- I had food diaries, I had research on flax seed oil, I had my blood pressure chart -- I went prepared, folks, I mean PREPARED! He was very impressed. And that's why he DID NOT PUT ME ON ANY MORE MEDS for my cholesterol! Yaay! He said he's convinced if I can drop those 20 pounds we'll see that cholesterol come down too. He's given me 3 months to do it.
AND I CAN SOOOOO DO IT!

Your persistence paid of, girl! And now no meds. I can't believe it, but I can. I get the impression you're quite stubborn and you set your mind to this. Way to go, Chica!

I forgot to include this in my post -- I was so excited!
I was so nervous about the appointment, I deliberately didn't eat anything beforehand, and took an Equalactin and a Gas-X (I was passing gas like crazy!). Sitting in his office, we were going over my meds and my chart, and boy did I ever have to fart! I squeezed my legs, grinded my teeth, and the blood raised up to my face ..... oooh, it was tough ..... I couldn't go to the bathroom, not in the middle of his "schtick" -- and then he told me the good news.
And guess what? I totally forgot about the gas pains! Totally! They completely left me. I was fine! In fact, I was jumping up and down! It wasn't until I got back out to the car and pulled out my keys that it dawned on me: hey, what happened to the gas!?
Amazing.

Oh Bevrs!!! Im so happy for you...I cant almost hear your voice and excitablity literally while reading your post. Gives you and the rest of us such hope that all this (Heathers IBS solutions) is working.
