Who am I angry at, myself or the chips???
I have been settled for almost a month now, with only minor symptoms; and what do I do...yeah Chicken and Chips!! They tasted great at the time and I was relieved that I didn't seem to be effected then the next day my butt went Thermo-nuclear and I had the worst day ever.
Two days later I am just settling down again and things seem to be returning to normal; I've learned my lesson albeit too late, but the memory will last...even if the taste doesn't!!

Lays Baked are the answer for you, my friend. I didn't care for them at first, but Heather convinced me the error of my ways. Hubby likes them too. Try 'em! Regular chips have TOO MUCH FAT!

Hi
They would be if I could get them over here in OZ, but baked chips seem to be a little bit of a rarity over here. Lays do make chips, but they seem to be the deep fried jobbies that aren't great for IBS.
Also, I probably sent you on a wild goose chase before...Chips to me are the cooked 'hot' potato type, I think they are called fries or french fries in your neck of the woods.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

Okay, you like french fries, eh? Well, here's a fix for ya: take an Idaho, cut it up into french fries, spread the fries onto a large non-stick baking sheet with a little bit of olive oil, toss in the oven at 425-450 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until browned, turning them after the first 10 minutes. There ya go -- you have yourself some of your "chips" -- they're terrific, but without all that grease (ew).

Hey Tim...welcome back!!
I know what you mean by chips (as soon as I saw Bev suggest Lays I knew she thought potato chips - but we call the chips instead of fries too LOL)
Anyways - there is no way around that kinda cheating...just know that today is another day and it happens.
The worst is when you suffer for the rest of the night. That will teach you the lesson for a bit anyway LOL
Take care,

add a little brown sugar to the salt you sprinkle on top. Baked fries are so yummy, but the sweet potatoes are the best!
