I was diagnosed with C-diff 9/2014 and had a FMT which finally removed the C-diff in March 2015. Since Jan, I have been in more pain than ever, but besides C-diff, all my tests are normal. I have pain in my right rib area (gallbladder removed), lower ab, and middle of chest which sometimes goes to middle of back. My pain is so bad, I can't get out of bed or move around, as soon as I do, it go straight to a 10 and no matter what I do, it hurts until I go to sleep. Now it even wakes me from my sleep and I can't sleep at all on my right side, it hurts to much. I have been sent to a GI doctor who is too busy to see me, a GP that doesn't know what to do for me, a psychiatrist that does her best, pain management, and many classes to help my mental issues. I tried a dietician who wanted me to try that modfad diet which only made me constipated and caused me even more pain, gassy and bloated. What is you opinion on medical marijuana or would it be better to just stock up on lots of tea? Another issue I have is I am on disability and don't have much money. Thank you for any help.

Hi - yes, medical marijuanan, peppermint, and fennel teas can all help. Peppermint is fantastic for pain.

I'd also look into gut-directed hypnotherapy - that is a miracle for a lot of people when nothing else has helped. There is a ton of info starting here http://www.helpforibs.com/hypnosis/

You can see a person or if you can't leave the house there is an at home program.

There is also a message board for IBS hypnosis so ask any questions or for feedback from folks who have done it.

Hang in there. XOXXO
