quinoa milk: http://www.goodgroceries.com/quinoa-milk/ cashew milk: http://www.tastethedream.com/products/product/5490/849.php Both can be bought unsweetened if needed. I first try out alternatives plain, then venture into the sweetened and/or flavored if need to.

On the referenced cashew milk website: 40 cal./25 in fat. "I'm eating non-fat things with it, so it balances out better with the cal./fat ratio %.";Plus of the 3g of fat, only .5 is saturated. Quinoa milk is 70 cal./10 in fat. Probably tastes less quinoaeee, if it is vanilla version, yet can be either sweetened or not in the vanilla;Usually flavored milk alternatives I've seen that are flavored have sweeteners. I've added a "little" liq. eggwhite to both to boost protein, but that's just something I do for me. Not bad tasting to me.
