Odd advice for IBS - what do you think?

IBS does not lead to inflammatory bowel diseases. Not ever. There is no connection, no link, IBS and IBD have literally nothing in common in terms of origin and underlying pathology.

And trying to "wean your body off fiber" makes about as much sense as weaning your body off of any other fundamental nutrient. In other words, it makes no sense whatsoever.

As soon as you see any document that talks about the cause of IBS you know that it is probably not a reliable source of information as the cause is unknown. And when it tells you to stop eating any fiber foods you know it is just a load of bunk. This book is a load of bunk !
