Not ever. There is no connection, no link, IBS and IBD have literally nothing in common in terms of origin and underlying pathology. And trying to "wean your body off fiber" makes about as much sense as weaning your body off of any other fundamental nutrient. And when it tells you to stop eating any fiber foods you know it is just a load of bunk.
