That may be trial and error - it's likely a minute amount. But be careful, see how you do.

I am on this probiotic and it seems to be helping me?

Maybe I shouldn't say anything, since I have only been on it a very short time!!!

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.

You should be able to buy it over the counter at any large pharmacy or on-line at http://vsl3.com/

Cynthia,

How long have you been on this probiotic now? How are you doing on it? I am doing quite well on it, thank you!

Hi all, been a while since I posted...but I need some help. I was a D for about 15 years (the last 5 years were pretty stable), then it suddenly switched to bloating and gas for a few months then switched to C for a few months...then back to stable. Now I am suddenly in the gas phase. I am lactose intolerant (cheese is ok but no milk or yogurt) so my bacteria is probably a mess which could be causing the foul, excessive gas. I tried a a Schiff probiotic pill last "gas" time but it gave me horrible pain and D. Is there a particular one out there that is good for IBS? I saw the previous posts but there was really only one reference to the $86 one. Thanks for your help.
