Question on wine

I REALLY miss my wine!! (It is SO damned UNFAIR that I cannot have my favorite things anymore - wine, chocolate, ice cream, nachos, etc., etc.)!!

OK enough complaining! What if I drank some Moscato wine? This is supposedly much lower in alcohol than other wines.

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.

There's a LOT of gray area here, so be cautious and do some trial and error.

Heather,

What do you think of Moscato, a white wine? It is supposed to have a lower alcohol content than other wines.

I plan to try this after my endoscopy and colonoscopy next week.

if it's primarily the alcohol that bothers you. I actually do really well with Moscatos and Rieslings (also tend to be lower alcohol, especially the German ones).

Again, have a small glass on a full stomach to test out. And do this when you're feeling stable, not when you're struggling.
