Hello All,

I don't mean to complain but I just feel I need to get this off my chest!

I originally had IBS in early 2008 and I seemed to be "over" it by having acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I was able to eat just about anything I wanted up until a couple of weeks ago, after I had 2 oral CT scans and one IV contrast for a CT scan the end of July.

I am feeling overwhelmed because I just got done with chemo and radiation for stage 2B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I already have a very dry mouth and throat from the radiation, and numb feet from the chemo.

Also the mass that was in my chest caused my left recurrent laryngeal nerve to become damaged and that in turn caused my voice to be much higher pitched than normal. I had vocal cord surgery about 5 weeks ago and my voice is NOT that much improved!! Now I have to go to speech therapy to deal with THAT!!

What I am saying is I feel it is SO unfair for me to have to deal with ALL of these issues!!!!

Especially when I know SO many horrible people for whom NOTHING bad ever happens!!

I just feel the weight of the world on MY shoulders!!

Thanks for listening and for any help you can give me with my feelings!!

Originally diagnosed with IBS-C in Spring, 2008. During spring to fall of 2008, had at least 10 acupuncture treatments and Chinese herbs. IBS went into remission. IBS returned in late July 2013 after taking 2 oral contrasts for a CT scan for cancer follow up. Had more acupuncture with different practitioner in summer 2014, but received little benefit.

And there isn't anything I can think of for why you shouldn't be angry and upset. You have every right.

Wish I could hug you and at least say sorry.

Xoxo

That's a lot to handle. I understand you being angry. Can you talk with people about it in your social world? Hopefully you'll find a way to change that anger into a power that gives good things for you. I wish you strength.

I'll keep you in my prayers.

I know what it's like to deal with multiple things and it's not fun. You kinda wonder "Why me?" when you see some genuinely nasty people swanning around like they do not have a care in the world.

All you can do is try and stay positive-pray to be more joyful and to be able to see the beauty that is in your life, no matter what. Pray for the right answers and for the physicians to do their best for you.

I have found that since asking God for more Faith and grace and peace and joy, things are a little better. I just have to trust that better days are around the corner.

God Bless. I will keep you in my prayers.
