Tetley makes a decaf black tea. It may or may not be safe depending on your tolerance to the small amount of caffeine that has not been removed. Decaf black teas contains about 4-20 mg caffeine per cup compared to regular black tea that contains about 50 mg per cup.

I drink decaf Early Grey and some flavored decaf black teas all the time. Having said that, if I was feeling touchy I'd stick to my peppermint tummy tea for active help. But if stable decaf black and also decaf green teas are just fine for me.

If you're prone to heartburn, do be careful with strongly brewed black tea, even decaf. The tannins can exacerbate reflux.

Best,
Heather

Why Black Tea?
Black tea is popular tea and healthy delicious drink. I like to drink for its health benefits. It can help lower the risk of stroke because of high levels of flavonoids.
