Just wandering if this is normal, I have IBS-C and when my stomach acts up my intestines feel like they were trampled by a herd of cattle! It even hurts when I set down.

I have been on this diet for 4 days with no relief. The intestinal pain is unbelievable and diarrhea as soon as I get up in the morning. My food list is potatos, rice, bananas and toast and I took 2 citrucel twice daily. Will definitely not take thes today. I must be doing something wrong.

check the page on abdominal pain here http://www.helpforibs.com/footer/abdominalpain.asp for ideas. Just realized something not on that page is direct heat on your abdomen, with hot packs or something similar. That can really help.

Sorry to hear that. I too feel I must be doing something wrong, as I still suffer from chronic C despite the changes I've made in diet. You're not alone!

Big change for me today...no diarhea or pain. No evacuation period. It was a welcomerelief but I know I have to incorporate insoluble . I ate potatoes, rice, toast, english muffins, squash and apple sauce. Did take 2 citrucel tabs 3 times. I miss milk...is soy milk OK? Someone mentioned smoothies--are they made with mashed fruit and some type of milk? appreciate any suggestions.
