I need to take a fiber supplement because I have ibs-d along with divirticulosis. Is Acacia fiber all soluble and will it affect my lomotil medication I take? Most fibers you have to take 2-3 hrs before or after other medications is this the same way?

In terms of taking acacia with medications, think of acacia as food.

If you can take a med with food, then you can take it with the Tummy Fiber. Most meds, as well as vitamins and other supplements, are supposed to be taken with foods, so they can easily be combined with the Tummy Fiber without problem.

If you do have to take a med on an empty stomach, then make sure you take it one hour before or two hours after the Tummy Fiber.

Best,
Heather
