i have used Levsin and Bentyl, and neither seem to do much to stop cramping. has anybody taken something more affective, but without the side affects of drowsiness or "stupid" feeling that drugs such as Librax cause? i threw my Librax out, as i felt like i was in a "fog" from it. awful.

all anti-spasmodics are going to have the same possible side effects (dry mouth, tiredness, dizziness, etc.) and same possible benefits. You might have to try some other versions. The one you prefer isn't necessarily what someone else will prefer.

You can also try enteric coated peppermint oil capsules for an antispasmodic. I traded in Donnatol and Levsin for pep oil caps and have much better results, without the dry eyes that really bothered me.

Librax is a different type of drug altogether.

Best,
H
