Hi friends! haven't been posting much since I've been doing pretty well. But I am going to Israel in a week and a half and just had a moment of "oh my god, what am I going to eat?" Has anyone visited the middle east? I do great with hummus and pita...but it's a 10 day trip. Many meals are provided, which makes it kind of tough, but I'm just curious. Any suggestions??
Thanks!

I take benefiber and am planning on taking it with me. I used to travel with acacia all the time--never had a problem. I lived in England for a year and traveled all over and never once was stopped. I'm very happy that benefiber has individual packets, so it makes my life MUCH easier.
Have a great trip!

and there was always rice, grilled fish, grilled chicken, pitas, roasted eggplant dishes, grilled veggies, and more. If you watch out for how much olive oil is being added to everything, you should be fine.

My guess is the food will be delicious and you'll have lots of safe options. Odds are also good they will have great mint and other herb teas. Have a great trip!

thanks, Heather! I'm really excited for the trip--only a bit anxious about the food. But since I've been stable for some time I KNOW I can do it!
Thanks for this diet--it's been so wonderful for me!
